The Survivor title is fine the way it is. Any decent player whos aiming for the Legendary title wouldn't join random PuG's 95% of the time (if that...) They would rather join guildies/mates/henchies, mainly more organised people.

The people who want the death counter reseted just to get the Survivor title are plain greedy, simple as. There's atleast 10 other titles older players can get easily if they tried and whats stopping them making a new character if they want the title so bad? I have 4 characters who are all atleast 6 months old (one whos 4/5 koabd) but I just shrugged and made a new character for it. If this wasto happen, every Wammo and his pet would have the Legendary title by farming it that will simply show the title requires no skill.

Oh and by the way I haven't farmed for it once, I've had to travel through the beginning of Ascalon up to Ember Light Camp/Levithan Pits capping each elite skill (another title worth getting) with Henchies and clearing every playable quests/missons along the way. But like I've said, any old character would probably of done most of this and have no option but to farm for it.

well personally Im working on my monk for survivor. its the easiest by far.

only a few occasions have i deemed a lost cause, and teleport to the guild hall... but the way i look at it, Ill get more exp if I can just REZ them back.

A warrior is a stupid idea for getting the title, youre only cheating yourself of learning to play the class efficiently.

As a monk its kind of my duty to keep everyone alive... now that im level 14 I have a little more self-confidence in my ability to stay alive/keep my PuG alive.

I usually tell people straight up that im working on my title. I havent tried to do any missions- just going after the exp rewards for menial quests. I dont know if im ready to try Villany of Galrath yet- I seem to have vague memories of completing that mission with 60DP with my other characters.

The biggest problem i see is if I can just allow myself to stop-> yeah lvl 20 isnt far away... but even trying to get Survivor level 2 is going to be kind of silly. I figure Ill customize my weapons at level 20 and if I can make it to lvl2 then fine, if not, well I had a good run with it.

I saw an assassin with the survivor title once- I dont know what to make of that one. Probably another 'togo defender' type... but hey NOT dying as an assassin, even a shy leechy wimpy one, is no small feat. I think I actually DO respect that guy...

well i have to say ive attained the first part of the title and im working on the second part of it at the moment. as of so far i havent left any groups and yes i did come close to dying thank the monk who put that healing on me at the last second. in truth i havent done any mission beside the 2 on the island and yes ive done farming with henchies to earn the title only paid someone to run me through one mission which is sanctum mainly so i can get to areas i know how to farm. so im proud of my title and would hate to see it go im a proud mesmer with the survivor title

Ok, i can understand all those people who feel "cheated" of their shot at the title,,even reading this post made me a bit depressed but like so many others have said if the tiltle had to be "change" then every warrior with a pet would have "legendary survivor" on them and basically all those people who complained,..do you have EVERY single title there is possible for your character? i really dont think so if someone did have every single tiltle possible for their character i would understand if they felt cheated of the survivor tiltle but i mean come on people why are you making a fuss of the survivor title when you still have so many others to obtain?
